Testimonies from Haiti

“I have had the privilege to participate in a number of mission trips over the years, including the jungles of Brazil and very poor areas of Mexico. I have never seen anything like the human suffering and need in Haiti. The dental disease I treated is rampant in some of these orphans. Some of the abscesses were through the jaw draining to the outside of the face. Jesus often used miracles of healing of the body to reach people spiritually. With the help of our church, I hope to develop a dental clinic that will allow us to provide restorative dental care and hygiene services. God’s hand is on this effort.” Randall D. Rose, DDS

“God placed a heavy burden on my heart for Haiti as soon as Long Hollow started talking about an orphanage there. It was my first mission trip and my first trip out of the country. My life will be forever changed. The people in Haiti are so loving and kind. I can’t wait to go back and see the orphans that will be in the village that our church is building. Most of us were complete strangers before the trip, and we made life-long friends. It’s amazing to see God at work in a country like Haiti. The people have it so bad there but are grateful for what they do have. There are lots of hurting children in that country that need love. How blessed are we to be able to show them the love of Jesus Christ!” Jason Oeser
